Civilian Deaths

Thirty Afghanistan civilians were killed in the last 48 hours according to the LATimes.  According to the United Nations, May was the worst month for civilian casualties, with 368.  It's funny how the Republican Party and the Democratic Party both were very pro-war when all of this began.  No on seems to consider that in war people die.  It's not glorious.  It's horrible and it's something humanity should try to stop doing as soon as possible.  Many people on the terrorist side believe they are fighting for God (some Americans share this view also).  It sure doesn't help matters when the United States bombs innocent civilians.  Though it is not done intentionally, the results are nonetheless real.  Imagine if a foreign power invaded us and our friends and family were killed in attacks by them.  I don't think I would be in favor of them being there!
